About a week ago, an idea for a new website popped into my head. How about a "Stat of the day" for your favorite team? I figured this could be unique enough to warrant creating a separate site instead of building it into StatSheet.com and risk it being buried by the myriad of other features StatSheet offers**

So a couple thousand lines of code later, StatFix.com is born.

The idea is rather simple. Every day I'll post a new (and hopefully interesting) stat about every Division I college basketball team. This is all automated of course as I couldn't possibly do it by hand every day, but I think you'll like the results (and it is different stat for every team every day). As I accumulate more stats for the other sports, expect to see College Football, NBA, and NFL on StatFix too.

I'm branding this as the first StatSheet.com powered website. If there is a first then there must be a second, right? Working on StatFix over the past week has made me realize how easy it is to create interesting websites using the vast database of stats I've been building for StatSheet.com. My pride and joy will always be StatSheet, but that doesn't mean I'll refrain from procreating more websites in the future! I have several ideas already...

** To get the best of both worlds, I've integrated StatFix into StatSheet. On each team's page, you'll see a link to the current Stat of the Day for that team. Here is an example
