One more Ref-related update January 23, 2008 Based on a suggestion from a Hoya board, I've added the per game foul averages and foul differentials for the Top 25 on the Referee page. The positive differential for most of the top 25 teams shows that either the refs have a slight bias toward better teams or better teams are better at getting fouled. There have been some recent discussions of the referee stats on various message boards (here and here), so I thought I'd spice them up a little. At the bottom of the Referees by Team page (for example MSU), you can get foul averages and a chart of fouls over the season. Posted by Robbie | Permalink | Comments Lots of new stuff for Players January 22, 2008 I've added a lot more functionality to the Player Stats, Game Stats, and Team Impact pages. Now you get a player's entire career on the Stats and Team Impact pages in one view. You can control whether stats for All Games or just Conference Games are displayed. You can view basic stats or advanced stats (including tempo neutral stats). At the bottom of each page, you can also chart up to 3 stats that will show how the player has done over the course of the season and over the course of his career (if he is a sophomore, junior or senior). I'm very interested in your feedback, so let me know if you like these changes or have any suggestions. One last update: Thanks to Jake at Building the Dam for informing me about the Oregon State coach being fired (doh!). I've updated the Oregon State page so that the new head coach (Kevin Mouton) shows up. Posted by Robbie | Permalink | Comments Updates and Bug Fixes - Jan 20th January 20, 2008 I've updated the Stats page for players (see Hansbrough) so you now have options to view Per Game averages, Per 40 minutes, Tempo-Neutral, and stat totals. Before you had to view player stats on a per-season basis. Now I've combined all the seasons onto one page. I have a lot more up my sleeve for the Players page so stay tuned.
