Central Arkansas wins in-state matchup with UAPB

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.(AP) Nathan Brown threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns to lead Central Arkansas to a 41-17 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday night.
Both teams are in the Football Championship Subdivision, Division I's second tier. They played at War Memorial Stadium, about 45 minutes from each school, as the rainy remnants of Hurricane Ike came through the state.
Brown threw a 12-yard scoring pass to Marquez Branson and a 4-yarder to Eric Ware. The second touchdown made it 27-10 as the Bears (3-0) began to pull away. UAPB fumbled away the ensuing kickoff, and Central Arkansas took advantage with a 2-yard touchdown run by Brent Grimes.
Mickey Dean ran for 129 yards and a touchdown for the Golden Lions (0-3).
