STONY BROOK, N.Y.(AP) Cory Christopher ran for two short touchdowns and threw a 30-yard scoring pass to Anthony Nelson as Hofstra continued its domination of Stony Brook with a 43-3 victory Friday night.
The Pride (2-2) have won all 12 games in the series between the Long Island schools.
Christopher finished 15-of-24 for 161 yards and carried 12 times for 48 yards.
He opened the scoring with a 1-yard run at 4:05 of the first quarter, and his 2-yard run made it 37-3 at 13:16 of the fourth. His TD pass to Nelson at 4:06 of the second quarter closed the Pride's game-opening 31-0 run.
Luke Gaddis kicked a 28-yard field goal at 2:53 of the second quarter as the Seawolves (1-4) avoided the shutout.
