NATCHITOCHES, La.(AP) Byron Lawrence ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns to help Northwestern State to a 63-12 rout over Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday night.
Sterling Endsley rushed for 64 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (1-4). William Griffin added 79 yards on the ground and a touchdown.
Northwestern State jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, highlighted by Justin Perry's 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Perry returned a block punt 17 yards for a score and Isaiah Greenhouse scored on a 69-yard interception put the Bulldogs ahead 35-0 with 12:36 left in the second.
John Hundley completed 9 of 14 passes for 98 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown pass to Darius Duffy in the first quarter for Northwestern State.
Daryl Carey rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns for Southeastern Oklahoma (3-2). Brandon McCain threw for 92 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
