BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) Demetrius Crawford and C.J. Palmer rushed for two touchdowns each Saturday to lead Montana State to a 37-18 win over South Dakota.

Crawford rushed for 91 yards while Palmer had three carries for 4 yards for Montana State (2-2).

Cody Kempt completed 12 of 21 passes for 157 yards and a 9-yard touchdown pass to DeSean Thomas just before halftime, but Kempt was intercepted three times.

The Bobcats defense limited the damage of five MSU turnovers by holding the Coyotes (2-3) to 10 first downs.

Montana State built a 35-0 lead on a 7-yard touchdown run by Crawford with 14:12 remaining.

All of south Dakota's touchdowns came in the final six minutes. Dion Foster scored on a 32-yard run, Isaac Newton scored on a 7-yard run and Landon Landry scored on a 3-yard pass from Dante Warren. The 2-point conversion failed after each score.

Quarterback Noah Shepard completed 7 of 19 passes for 74 yards and was intercepted once for South Dakota, which had 241 yards of total offense. The Coyotes were coming off a 77-7 win over Culver-Stockton in which they had 727 yards of total offense.
