HARRISONBURG, Va.(AP) Quarterback Rodney Landers rushed for 133 yards and accounted for four touchdowns to help James Madison rout Hofstra 56-0 on Saturday.
Landers, who completed 7 of 13 passes for 92 yards, threw a 7-yard touchdown to Rockeed McCarter to give the Dukes (5-1, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Conference) a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.
Griff Yancey caught a 49-yard touchdown pass from Landers, who followed up that score with a 45-yard touchdown run then a 4-yard passing score to McCarter in the third to put James Madison ahead 42-0 in the third.
Dukes defensive tackle Ronnell Brown returned an interception 44-yards for a touchdown in the fourth. Drew Dudzik, who had 56 yards rushing on 10 carries, later had a 25-yard touchdown.
Corey Christopher threw for 128 yards and had two interceptions for the Pride (2-3, 1-1).
