DAVIS, Calif.(AP) Sophomore quarterback Greg Denham threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns to guide UC Davis over Southern Utah 49-26 on Saturday night.

Running back Brandon Tucker scored two running touchdowns and receivers Bakari Grant and Brandon Rice caught two scores each for the Aggies (3-4, 1-0 Great West), who have an all-time 7-0 record at home against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

Receiver Tysson Poots caught eight passes for 144 yards and four touchdowns for the Thunderbirds (3-4, 0-1 Great West). All of Poots TD catches were thrown by senior quarterback Cody Stone, who threw for 287 yards.

Tuckers 5-yard TD run with five seconds left in the first quarter gave the Aggies a 21-13 lead. After a drive that took 18 plays and 99 yards, UC Davis scored another touchdown late in the second quarter on a 3-yard run by Tucker, bringing the score to 28-13 for the Aggies at halftime.

UC Davis had scored 28 unanswered points to make the score 42-13 until the Thunderbirds scored on a TD catch by Poots with 5:59 left in the third quarter. After Poots caught his final touchdown early in the fourth quarter, Denham threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to receiver Bakari Grant for the final points of the game.
