BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) Curtis Pulley accounted for four touchdowns to help Florida A&M beat Southern 52-49 on Saturday night.

Pulley completed 13 of 17 pass for 172 yards and an interception for the Rattlers (5-2). He also rushed for 118 yards on the ground on 15 attempts.

The Jaguars (4-3) took a 35-31 lead in the third quarter Bryant Lee scored on a 2-yard run. But LeRoy Vann later scored on a 66-yard punt return to give Florida A&M a 38-35 lead with 1:47 left in the third.

Pulley caught a 41-yard touchdown from Kevin Elliott to push the Rattlers' lead to 45-35 in the fourth. Southern trimmed the margin to three points when Lee connected with Del Roberts on a 76-yard touchdown pass, but the Jaguars pulled no closer.

Florida A&M backup quarterback Eddie Battle threw for 101 yards and a touchdown. Adrian Smith caught six passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

Lee completed 25 of 42 passes for 407 yards, three touchdowns and an interception for Southern. He also had 64 yards on the ground.
