Grimes' 132 yds leads Central Arkansas

SAN MARCOS, Texas(AP) Brent Grimes ran for 132 yards and a touchdown for Central Arkansas, which held off Texas State 31-24 on Saturday.

Nathan Brown was 18-of-22 passing for 163 yards and threw two touchdowns, and Willie Landers caught three passes for 41 yards and a score for the Bears (6-1, 2-0 Southland).

Bradley George passed for 250 yards to lead Texas State (4-3, 1-1). George was 19-of-33 passing with two touchdowns. He also rushed for 30 yards.

Luke Cameron caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown for the Bobcats.

The Bears led 21-14 at the half and built the lead to 31-17 in the fourth quarter on Eddie Carmona's 35-yard field goal.

Daren Dillard's 3-yard touchdown catch from George made the score 31-24 with less than a minute to play.

Central Arkansas never trailed.
