PINE BLUFF, Ark.(AP) Donald Babers ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns to lead Prairie View A&M to a 15-0 victory Saturday over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Babers, a junior running back, scored early in the first quarter off a 1-yard run. Prairie View (6-1, 3-1) forced a safety on Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-7, 0-3) in the second quarter. Near the close of the half, Babers scored again off a 3-yard run. The Golden Lions blocked the point-after attempt, but failed to find any offensive momentum.

Panther kicker Kyle Mathews missed two field goal attempts.

Prairie View quarterback Mark Spivey completed 12 of his 23 passes for 101 yards. The Golden Lions, however, had little luck in the air or on the ground. Quarterback Gvona Turner completed only five of his 15 attempted passes for 49 yards. Mickey Dean saw his only attempted pass picked off.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff rushed for only 49 yards in the loss.

The Golden Lions remains winless in their first season under coach Monte Coleman, a former linebacker for the Washington Redskins.
