ORANGBURG, S.C.(AP) Travil Jamison ran for four touchdowns, and William Ford had 182 yards rushing and a score, to lead South Carolina State to a 35-13 win over Hampton on Saturday.

Jamison, who finished with 151 rushing yards on 10 carries, scored on runs of 5, 3 and 13 yards to give the Bulldogs (6-2, 4-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) a 21-0 lead in the third quarter.

The Pirates (5-2, 4-1) cut the lead to 21-7 in the third when Damon McDaniel caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from Herbert Bynes, who also had a 10-yard passing score to LaMarcus Coker in the fourth.

But Jamison answered with a 28-yard touchdown, and Ford added a 39-yard rushing score in the fourth for South Carolina State. Malcolm Long threw for 115 yards.

Coker finished with 109 rushing yards for Hampton. Bynes, who completed 27 of 40 passes, threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
