BALTIMORE(AP) Dewain Clark threw a pair of touchdown passes as South Carolina State defeated Morgan State 32-0 Saturday for its second straight shutout.
It is South Carolina State's first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship since 2004, and the school's first outright conference title since 1994.
Clark was 11 of 21 for 124 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (9-2, 7-0), and William Ford rushed for 97 yards on 12 carries.
South Carolina State took the lead on a 61-yard punt return by Phillip Adams, then extended it to 12-0 when Clark hit Morris on a 3-yard pass with 11:34 left in the first half.
The Bulldogs extended the lead to 18-0 at halftime on Travil Jamison's 1-yard run.
Morgan State (6-5, 4-3) had only two first downs in the first half.
South Carolina State continued its onslaught in the second half.
On the second play of the third quarter, Morris scored on a 37-yard screen pass and Markus James scored on a 39-yard interception.
