San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - DeMaundray Woolridge had 93 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns, including a five-yard scoring run with 1:10 remaining in the contest that lifted the Idaho Vandals to a 29-25 victory over the San Jose State Spartans in Western Athletic Conference action.

Princeton McCarty ran for 125 yards and a touchdown for Idaho (5-1, 2-0 WAC).

Jordan La Secla completed 31-of-43 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in the heart-breaking setback for San Jose State (1-4, 0-1).

Josh Harrison hauled in a 17-yard touchdown pass from La Secla with 9:07 remaining in the first quarter, giving San Jose State a 7-0 lead.

With just over three minutes in that opening frame, the Vandals cut their deficit to 7-3 with a 23-yard field goal by Trey Farquhar.

Idaho got its first touchdown of the game on a one-yard run by Woolridge early in the second quarter. The extra point attempt was blocked, making the score 9-7 in favor of the Vandals.

San Jose State then regained the lead with 2:47 left in the first half, as a seven-yard touchdown run by La Secla made the score 14-9.

Farquhar hit a 52-yard field goal as the first half expired, but Idaho still trailed 14-12 at intermission.

The Vandals dominated the third quarter, as 10 unanswered points gave them a 22-14 advantage. McCarty's three-yard touchdown plunge was followed by a 26- yard Farquhar field goal.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, La Secla threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Marquis Avery. Tyler Cope then nailed a 20-yard field goal, giving San Jose State a 25-22 lead. Obviously, however, Woolridge's late touchdown run broke the hearts of the Spartans.

Idaho finished with 274 rushing yards, while San Jose State posted a mere 48 yards on the ground.
