Hiller's 339-yard game powers Western past Eastern

KALAMAZOO, Mich.(AP) Tim Hiller passed for 339 yards and three touchdowns in Western Michigan's 31-10 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
Hiller completed 24-of-36 passes and topped 300 passing yards for the fourth consecutive game for the Broncos (7-2, 5-1 Mid-American Conference). He is the third Western Michigan quarterback to pass for more than 7,000 career yards (7,211).
Terrence Blevins ran 19 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter and finished with 52 yards on 15 carries for Eastern Michigan (2-8, 1-5), which lost its fourth straight. Dwayne Priest also ran for 52 yards.
Western Michigan's Brandon West had 231 all-purpose yards, including 166 yards rushing and a career-best 53 yard kickoff return. The Broncos overcame 11 penalties and three lost fumbles to collect 502 offensive yards, their fourth 500-plus game of the season.
The Eagles had 405 yards of total offense, with Andy Schmitt completing 21-of-35 passes for 272 yards.
