DURHAM, N.H.(AP) John Clements and Dino Vasso had two interception returns for touchdowns and two other players had two touchdown receptions each as the University of New Hampshire beat Hofstra, 45-25, on Saturday.

New Hampshire (7-1, 4-1 Colonial Athletic Association) had 207 interception return yards to win its third consecutive game. Hofstra (3-6, 1-4 CAA) lost for the third time in as many weeks.

Hofstra's Luke Bonus caused and recovered a UNH fumble to set up a 45-yard field goal by Roger Williams that gave the Pride a 3-0 lead in the first quarter.

Clements later intercepted the ball at the Hofstra 47 and raced along the sideline to the end zone to give New Hampshire a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

New Hampshire's Robert Simpson finished the game with 16 carries for 131 yards and 2 TDs to lead all rushers on the day, while R.J. Toman completed 14 of 24 passes for 140 yards and a pair of TDs.

Hofstra's Aaron Weaver recorded 305 all-purpose yards, including a school record 254 kick return yards.

Hofstra led the way with 339 yards of total offense, compared to New Hampshire's 278.

Hofstra capitalized on a UNH fumble caused and recovered by the Pride's Luke Bonus to set up a 45-yard field goal by Roger Williams to take a 3-0 lead at 12:46 of the first quarter
