EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) Michigan State guards Korie Lucious and Chris Allen will undergo surgery this week after each broke his right foot during Monday's NCAA basketball championship.
The school announced Wednesday the surgeries will be performed Friday.
Recovery is expected to take eight weeks.
Lucious is a freshman. He was pushed from Ford Field in Detroit in a wheelchair after the Spartans fell 89-72 to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Allen will be a junior next season.
