CHARLOTTE, N.C.(AP) In an effort to cut costs, the Charlotte Bobcats likely will hold next season's training camp at their own practice facility and not field a summer league team.

Coach Larry Brown says Friday that the weeklong training camp will probably move from UNC Wilmington to the team's practice court at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Bobcats likely won't have a team in the Las Vegas summer league as they did a year ago.

Brown says he had no problem with either move, noting he could put players such as Alexis Ajinca and Sean May on other summer league teams.

The Bobcats have lost millions of dollars in their first five seasons. The team laid off 38 employees in non-basketball operations departments before the start of last season.
